Abba, is an intimate Name for our Heavenly Father. It means 'Father'.
When you become a child of God by reason of your
salvation, everything about you becomes His: your life, body, time, children,
possessions, achievements, etc. It is good to know that
you no longer need to worry about them, for they are absolutely in His
control and under His watchful eyes, unless of course you refuse to let Him
have full control. Be reminded of this
sovereign characteristic of God when you feel unduly burdened with the cares of
the world.
If you are yet to surrender your life to Jesus Christ, you are a beloved creature of God, just like every other creature, but not His child. To be a child of God is a great blessing. We are adopted into His family through our
relationship with Jesus Christ (John 1:12).
In Jesus, we become children of God the Father, through faith (Galatians
3:26).
