Every good and perfect gift comes from GOD. ~ (James 1:17)

All the good things we have and see around us are God’s gifts.  These include spiritual, physical, material, intellectual, and all other gifts.  We should never attribute possession of any good thing to fellow human beings, or our efforts.  If others are kind to us, it pleased the Lord to make it possible.  Thank God for the lives of those who are kind to you.  Thank Him always for all that you have, and remember to use them for His glory.

Note:  It is only through Jesus Christ that you can enjoy good and perfect gifts from God the Father. Through Him, we become adopted children of the Father and heirs to a glorious inheritance.  All things from the Father come through Jesus Christ (1 Corinthians 8:6), and it is by Him that all things are held together (Colossians 1:17).
Surrendering your life to JESUS is not as complicated as you thought.

10 Benefits of Knowing the One True GOD (7 - 10)

(7)    Knowing the attributes of God helps us to worship Him rather than the god of our imagination.  God is worshipped in acknowledgment of His attributes because they describe who He is.  When God is worshipped in spirit and in truth, He manifests His mercy and grace upon our lives.

(8)    The Bible says those who know their God will be strong and do exploits (Daniel 11:32).  They will have inner peace, confidence, and remain unruffled in the face of difficulties.

(9)    Those who know God will bear fruit and increase in every good work (Colossians 1:9-10).  Our fruitfulness and growth depend on our knowledge of God.  As we grow in the knowledge of God and experience Him deeply, we will have a greater desire to please Him.  We will also begin to emulate His character.

(10)   Knowing God enhances our soul-winning efforts.  The most effective approach to winning a soul is proving the existence of God, and the manifestation of His love, power, and faithfulness to mankind.

10 Benefits of Knowing the One True GOD (2 - 6)

(2)    Knowing God is the basis for righteous living.  Being ignorant of the Identity and Nature of God often leads to idolatry and sin.  We fall short of His standards for morality when we do not know what His expectations are.

(3)    Knowing God summons strength, gives us direction, and gives us hope to carry on in difficult times.

(4)    Knowing God helps us to better understand His care and concern for us.  There is a part of His Identity and Nature that represents an answer to a challenge that we might encounter in our lifetime.

(5)    Knowing God strengthens our faith in Him.  We are assured of His ability to do all that He purposes and promises.  Having faith in God means that we trust Him.  His Identity and Nature are the bases for trusting Him.

(6)    Knowing God helps us to pray appropriately, with the assurance that our prayers would be answered.  We are able to draw the promises inherent in the Identity and Nature of God, and come into agreement with them.

10 Benefits of Knowing the One True GOD (1)

Knowing the One True God helps us to distinguish Him from false gods.  The God that is revealed in the Holy Bible is not the same god that is worshipped by many.  We run the risk of walking along the path of destruction when we are ignorant of the Identity and Nature of the One True God.

GOD is called Jehovah-Tsidkenu (The LORD our Righteousness). ~ (Jeremiah 23:6)

God the Father is the Source of our righteousness.  He sent His son Jesus Christ to make us righteous (1 Corinthians 1:30).  Jesus was made to be sin for us even though He knew no sin, that we might be made righteous.

Satan is always ready to tell you that you are unworthy of God's love when you sin.  If you accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour, satan cannot condemn you any longer, because you have been made righteous.  You can go boldly to the throne of grace, confess your sins to the Lord, ask for His forgiveness, and then make up your mind to live in total obedience to His Word.  Do not let satan put you down and gain another victory over you.  Surrender all to Jesus Christ today.

JESUS CHRIST is Rabboni (Master). ~ (John 20:16)

Jesus is also our Master.  We acknowledge His authority over us, when we call Him 'Master'.  He is indeed our Master, being that He teaches and guides us into all truth.  Obedience to the teachings of Jesus our Master is the evidence of our salvation.

JESUS CHRIST is our Teacher. ~ (John 13:13)

Jesus is greater than any teacher/religious leader we may ever have, and more educative than any book we may read.  He has had greater impact on the world than anyone in history.  Besides the fact that all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge are hidden in Him, He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life (John 14:6).  It is important to acknowledge and submit to His teachings, for all to be well with us.  How often do you study the Bible?

Before GOD, there was no God formed, neither shall there be, after Him. ~ (Isaiah 43:10)

There is only One True God that has ever existed; there shall be no other.  He alone is to be acknowledged, served, and worshipped, bearing in mind the trinity of persons in the Godhead - God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Spirit.   There are not three Gods, but three persons in one God. (2 Corinthians 13:14; Matthew 28:19).  Anything else that is worshipped exists only because the Only True God created it. It is false, empty, and completely powerless.

The first of the Ten Commandments has to do with the object of our worship (Exodus 20:3). It forbids worship of other gods in thought, word, and deed. Giving glory to anyone or anything, which is due to God alone, is the sin against this commandment that we are most in danger of.  A few examples of gods that some of us are not aware of are our businesses/careers, money, other material things, animals, and fellow human beings.

Whatever is loved, feared, delighted in, or depended on more than God, is a god. It is forbidden to worship other gods, even if they are worshipped alongside God, or it is assumed that God is worshipped through them, with Him being superior.

JESUS CHRIST is our LORD. ~ (Romans 6:23)

Jesus Christ is also known as our LORD – the Almighty and Supreme Being. He is one with GOD, the Father. When we call Jesus our LORD, it means we acknowledge Him as the Head or Ruler of our lives, our possessions, and all that has to do with us. It also means we fully obey Him.
Surrender all to Him without restrictions, and let Him take the rightful place in your life. If you sincerely make Jesus your Lord, He will be in charge of everything that concerns you, including your challenges and adversaries. That leaves you with absolutely nothing to worry about.

Surrendering your life to Jesus is not as complicated as you thought.

GOD delivered us from the power of darkness, and translated us into the Kingdom of His dear Son. ~ (Colossians 1:13)

God delivered us from what would have qualified us for a life of endless misery in hell, into the glorious Kingdom of His dear Son, Jesus Christ. God is indeed merciful to have delivered us from the kingdom of darkness, where satan rules to destroy souls and lead them to the lake of fire.

GOD is known as 'The Mighty One of Jacob'. ~ (Isaiah 60:16)

Jacob, the grandson of Abraham, started out as a fraud. He lived his life deceiving others to get by, but God visited and redeemed him. God gave Jacob a new name, and changed his life (Genesis 32:27-29). Through him, the twelve tribes of Israel came into being, to fulfill God’s promise to Abraham that his descendants would be as numerous as the uncountable stars in the sky (Genesis 15:5).

The God who redeemed Jacob can visit your foundation, change the story of your life, and give you a new beginning in spite of your sins or dark secrets.

Note:

There is only one way through which you can enjoy the glorious visitation of God (John 14:6).  The way is the Gift of salvation through Jesus Christ, who died on the cross of Calvary for your sins.

GOD brings out the starry host one by one, and calls them each by name. By His great power and mighty strength, not one of them is missing. ~ (Isaiah 40:26)

God controls all the stars, and knows every detail about each one.  He knows the number of stars in the sky, and has a name for each of them. What a Mighty God!

Note:  Do you suppose He knows your name and every little detail about you?  Yes He does!

In JESUS CHRIST and through faith in Him, we approach God the Father with freedom and confidence. ~ (Ephesians 3:12)

Jesus Christ makes all the difference.  We have unlimited access to God the Father, and boldness to approach Him freely because of Christ.  When Christ died on the cross, the barrier between God and man was broken.

When you receive Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Saviour, you have the right to call God, 'Father', ask anything of Him, speak freely with Him without fear, and seek His forgiveness when you sin.

GOD gives wisdom; out of His mouth come knowledge and understanding ~ (Proverbs 2:6)

Wisdom is required in whatever we do in life; only God gives it. It is a very important virtue everyone should ask God for. You may have all the resources in the world and not make good use of them if you lack wisdom.

Those who excel in life are not necessarily the most hard-working people. Wisdom from God will enable you work in comfort and achieve a lot with minimal efforts. If you make it a point to ask Him for wisdom concerning all that matters to you, you will always have great success.

If you have been acquiring knowledge and wisdom through the occult, magical books, false religions, and other ungodly means, it is only a matter of time before destruction sets in.  Reconsider your action, and speak to the Lord instead.

Note

It is through Jesus Christ that we have unlimited access to God the Father, and the confidence to approach Him (Ephesians 3:12).  Jesus gave everyone who believes in Him the assurance that they will receive from the Father when they ask to receive in His Name (John 16:23-24).

If you have not received Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour, ask Him into your life today.

GOD teaches us to profit. ~ (Isaiah 48:17)

God is interested in our progress and wants all to be well with us.  If you seek His help in all that you do and obey Him, you will have great success.  One instruction from Him can put an end to all your struggles.

In Luke 5:4-7, Jesus stepped into Peter’s case and he had great success. Peter had been fishing all night to no avail, but when Jesus directed him on what to do, he caught more fish than he expected; so much so, that his fishing net broke, and the two ships he loaded the fish onto began to sink.

Commit all your ways to the Lord, and it shall be well with you.

Note:

Wealth and possessions do not necessarily spell success or prosperity. You can prosper spiritually, physically, mentally, emotionally, and socially, with all being well with you, without necessarily having much in your bank account. For a true believer, prosperity should be more of a spiritual condition reflected in the joy of salvation, happiness, and inner peace. Other factors are add-ons.

THE HOLY SPIRIT is called 'The Spirit of Revelation'. ~ (Ephesians 1:17)

The Holy Spirit manifests His presence as the 'Spirit of Revelation', to uncover mysteries and information He wants to share with you alone for a purpose. He revealed the truth to the apostles and prophets as they wrote the Bible.

The Spirit of revelation also reveals to individuals, specific messages meant for them when they read the Bible, or listen to sermons/messages conveyed by other means.  He can also manifest His presence through visions and dreams.  When the Spirit of Revelation manifests Himself, you would have prior knowledge of events before they take place, including  hidden details of matters that are of concern to you.

Note:
(1) The Holy Spirit is the Third Person of the Trinity.  He is GOD.
(2) The Holy Spirit has emotions just like us, and can be pleased, displeased, and grieved.
(3) You must be born-again (i.e accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour) for the Holy Spirit to dwell in you.
(4) We grieve the Holy Spirit when we blaspheme (mock/speak against) Him. In my opinion, that includes denying that He is GOD.  Jesus Christ said blasphemy against the Holy Spirit is unforgivable (Matthew 12:31-32).

Let us take heed!

GOD will not always accuse, nor will He harbor His anger forever. ~ (Psalm 103:9)

God is long-suffering, and will not always manifest His displeasure. He forgives and forgets our sins when we confess them, and are truly repentant.  However, we should not make it a habit to keep committing sins, for it may get to a point where He will want to do something about it to help us stop altogether for our own sake. That process is called Chastisement, or Divine Discipline (Hebrews 12:6).

Only God decides if it is necessary to discipline us, how, and when He will.  This is why it is very important that we ask for His Mercy and Grace every morning to live holy.

Note:  You do not have this privilege if you have heard about the Gift of Salvation through JESUS CHRIST but refused to accept it, for the Bible says, God is angry with the wicked everyday (Psalm 7:11).

JESUS CHRIST is the Lion of the Tribe of Judah. ~ (Revelation 5:5)

A lion is known for his strength, fearful disposition, and the thundering sound of his roar. He is thus recognized as the king of the forest. Jesus had the characteristics of a lamb when He came the first time, but will return as a lion the second time, with kingly authority, power, and fierce judgment.

Jesus has the divine nature of the Father, and can be compared to a lion for His great strength, the thundering sound of His voice (Psalm 68:33), and His fury against the wicked. This title particularly symbolizes Him as a Strong Fighter against the enemy, and highlights His human lineage (Hebrews 7:14).

THE MISCONCEPTION:

A spiritual movement called the 'Rastafarians Movement' believes The LION OF JUDAH represents Emperor Haile Selassie I of Ethiopia, crowned November 2nd 1930 with the titles 'KING OF KINGS', 'LORD OF LORDS', Conquering 'LION OF THE TRIBE OF JUDAH' mentioned in the Book of Revelation (because he is a direct descendant of the Israelite Tribe of Judah through the lineage of King David and Solomon), 'ELECT OF GOD AND POWER OF THE TRINITY', and the 'MESSIAH'. Millions of souls are being led along the path of destruction because of the false 'Rasta Doctrine' – the same doctrine that the popular late musician Bob Nesta Marley lived by, and attempted to propagate worldwide. Gladly, He surrendered to Jesus shortly before He died.

Let it be known that there is no human being worthy of these titles, and that none should be reverenced as such (Exodus 20:4). JESUS CHRIST IS THE LION OF THE TRIBE OF JUDAH mentioned in the Book of Revelation, the only Way to the Father, the Truth and the Life (John 14:6). He is the One who paid the penalty for our sins (2 Corinthians 5:21, Romans 4:25)- a sacrifice no human being has ever made, and will never be capable of making. May we be guided in Jesus' Name, Amen.

THE HOLY SPIRIT is called 'The Spirit of Knowledge'. ~ (Isaiah 11:2)

The Holy Spirit manifests His presence as the Spirit of Knowledge, to acquaint us with facts and information concerning a particular matter. When we have the Spirit of Knowledge, we are able to distinguish between good and evil, and see the circumstances of life as God sees them.

We can grow in the knowledge of God if we rely on the Spirit of Knowledge, following which we would have greater spiritual insight into other areas of our lives.

When the Spirit of knowledge abides in you, you would be able to discern the true nature of things, people, and their motives. You must be a good listener and be prepared to be teachable, for the Spirit of Knowledge to be manifested.

Note

You must be born-again (accept JESUS CHRIST as your Lord and Saviour) for the Holy Spirit to dwell in you.

GOD sends His command to the earth; His Word runs swiftly. ~ (Psalm 147:15)

There is power in the Word of God.  As His Word goes forth, it accomplishes the purpose for which it was sent.  God commanded there to be light, and there was light (Genesis 1:3). Psalm 107:20 also says that when He sent His Word to His people, it healed and delivered them from destruction.

A Word from God can change your life. How often do you read or listen to His Word? How much of His Word do you use to your advantage?

JESUS CHRIST was a Man of sorrows, who was acquainted with grief. ~ (Isaiah 53:3)

Jesus was a combination of God and man when He came to save us - a great mystery. He left heaven where He was worshipped to live among us. He related with those who were around Him at the time, suffered as they did, and was grieved more than any of us could ever endure.

Jesus wept as well (John 11:35) when He saw Mary and the Jews weeping over the loss of Lazarus.  He wept (Luke 19:41-42) when He was touched with a tender concern for the evil that was about to befall Jerusalem. You can trust Jesus to wipe away your tears when you are grieved.  He understands what you are going through.

"GOD visits the iniquity of those who hate Him upon their children, unto the third and fourth generation". (Exodus 20:5) - VERSE EXPLAINED

God said He would pass the judgment executed on the wicked down to their future generations. Then in Ezekiel 33:14-15, He said if a sinner who deserves to be punished turns from his sin and practises justice and righteousness, he shall surely live, and not die.
Sadly the wicked tend to pass down idolatry and disobedient practices to their children, who then carry on where their parents left off. Most people who refuse the Gift of Salvation are facing one challenge or the other today for the sins of their ancestors. Besides, if you are not yet saved, there are chances that you are already walking in your ancestors’ shoes.
The only way you can turn from your sin, practice justice and righteousness, and escape the judgment of God for the sins of your ancestors is to accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour, and remain in Him. The blood of Jesus cleanses all sins and guilt. When you surrender to Him, you become a new creature. The Holy Spirit then dwells in you to keep you from stumbling.  No one is capable of living a life of holiness without the help of the Holy Spirit.

God does not change what He utters (Psalm 89:34).  What shields us from His judgement is the Blood of Jesus.

GOD's strength is made perfect in weakness. ~ (2 Corinthians 12:9)

We feel the manifestation of God's power more when we are weak, or almost giving up. Why is this?  It is so because God desires for us to see Him as the Source of our blessings and salvation.

When we feel we are strong enough to do things ourselves, we do not recognize the need for divine help. When we are weak, we are strong by the Grace of God. As His creatures, we will always be limited in strength and compelled to depend on Him. It is only when we acknowledge that we need Him in our weakness that He will show Himself strong.

Wednesday, September 5, 2012

JESUS CHRIST is a High Priest who is able to sympathize with our weaknesses; who was tempted in every way just as we are, yet was without sin. ~ (Hebrews 4:15)

Jesus Christ knows what it is like when things are not well with us. He once felt what we feel, and understands when we are hurt. He knows what it is like to be hungry (Mark 11:12-14); He felt hunger pangs. He knows what it is like to be tempted, betrayed, disgraced, persecuted, and falsely accused of an offence. We can boldly approach the throne of grace to seek for help and pardon when we struggle with sins. He will sympathize with us in our weaknesses, trials and miseries. The important thing is to admit our faults, and recognize that we need help.

JESUS CHRIST gives His peace to us; not as the world gives does He give. ~ (John 14:27)

Fellow human beings may give you peace, but they may not always be there for you. Some make false promises of peace, and what others offer sometimes lead to betrayal, frustration, and misery.  The world system, pleasure, fame, wealth, and other good things of life give you peace occasionally, but what they offer cannot meet the needs of the soul.

Jesus Christ gives peace that surpasses understanding; peace that no one can give or take way. The peace He gives leads to joy and fulfillment. The thought of having Christ dwelling with us, alone, is comforting to those who believe.  Everything that we need is in Him.

GOD leads us by the way that we should go ~ (Isaiah 48:17)

God directs the steps of His people. It is His design that we would always depend on Him for guidance to succeed in whatever we do.  The path along which He directs us may not make sense to us, but He knows the beginning and the end of all things. Commit all your decisions and plans into His hands; never rely on your own understanding. He knows what is best for you.

If you have a Father-son/daughter relationship with God, do not ask Him to partner with you on that business, project, or anything that you lay your hands on, after you have made up your mind to go ahead with it, without His consent, and guidance.

GOD's ears are not heavy that He cannot hear. ~ Reference (Isaiah 59:1)

God hears the cry of His people and answers their prayers.  However, there are limitations to what He will do. He will never violate His covenant, alter what He has uttered, or be a part of anything that contradicts His nature. If we ask God for example to curse the one He has already blessed or ask Him to bless a fraudulent business, ministry etc., He will not. Asking God to do things that will compromise His nature is asking Him to vacate His throne; that will never happen!

Similarly, prayers that are contrary to His plan for us will remain unanswered in our own interest, even though we may not realize it. We should not be discouraged and conclude that it is only if our prayers are lengthy or said in a particular manner that we would receive from God. In most cases, when we are in right standing with Him and it seems He has said "No" to a request, there is always a good reason for it. He decides what is best for those who love and serve Him.

GOD calls us by name. ~ (Isaiah 43:1)

To call someone by name means that you know that person on a personal level.  God desires to have an intimate relationship with us. He loves us so much to know our names; we are precious to Him.  He delights in us and knows our names, who we are, where we have been, our strengths and our weaknesses.
God's summoning is not about us, but Him. He summons us, not because we are more qualified than others, but because He has something great to be done and has chosen us for it.  He summons anyone He pleases, regardless of who they are, what they have (in terms of resources, abilities, strength) where they come from, or their past.
God called great women like Deborah and Esther. He called Samuel at a young age and Abraham in his old age.  He called Moses, who had a speech impediment, and called Paul who was persecuting the Church.  When God calls us, He calls us with a promise, and empowers us for the task He assigns to us.
God may have summoned you, but you refused to respond, or made excuses to deny His will for your life. It is only when we respond to His call that we have fulfilled the purpose for which He created us.  If He calls you again, how would you respond?

GOD is called Jehovah-Sabaoth (The LORD of Hosts). ~ (1 Samuel 17:45)

This title expresses God's sovereignty over the heavenly armies. It is one of the Names of God young David boasted in, when He faced Goliath. Goliath bragged in his strength, but David boasted in his God, who controls all heavenly and earthly armies. David’s confidence was in a God who could deliver enemies into the hands of man without a sword or a spear. Surely, there was something extra-ordinary in the stone David hurled at Goliath’s forehead that made him slump to the ground; it was the power of God.

The story of David and Goliath portrays the powerlessness of man without God. Who do you call on when you are confronted with forces stronger than you?  Do you call on your family, friends, men/women of God, graven images, or some deaf and dumb god?  Call on Jehovah-Sabaoth.  Only He can empower you to overcome the forces that intimidate you.

THE HOLY SPIRIT is the Spirit of GOD that dwells in us. ~ (Romans 8:11)

If you are not yet born-again, you may find it difficult to believe that God indeed lives in us; but He does, through His Spirit. The Spirit of God lives in the body of every Christian who has accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour, which is why the Bible says “our bodies are the temples of the Holy Spirit” (1 Corinthians 6:19). We must always remember that once the Spirit begins to dwell in us, we cease to own ourselves.
'Ceasing to own ourselves' in this context implies living for God alone, living only according to His own will and purpose, pleasing Him at all times, making decisions as He guides, and doing absolutely everything His own way. Our interests no longer matter and we begin to walk, not after the flesh, but the Spirit.

GOD gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to the discerning. ~ (Daniel 2:21)

God gives wisdom to those who are wise enough to know how important it is, and seek Him for it.  If you are striving for excellence, it takes discernment to know that you can reach the top if God is on your side, while others are struggling to make it.

It is good to be hardworking, but wisdom is what catapults you to greatness.  James 1:5 says wisdom is ours for the taking.  Ask God for it; He will give it to you.

Monday, July 2, 2012

GOD chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise. ~ (1 Corinthians 1:27)

God puts those who are wise in the eyes of the world aside, and chooses those who are considered foolish for His work.  Worldly wisdom is not sufficient to understand the things of God. Besides, it pleases God to save those who believe in Him by what the world terms 'foolish'.  Salvation and all it stands for will always be foolish to those who are following the path of destruction.

Likewise, God does not like it when we boast in our strength, wisdom, resources and abilities to do His work. It is His work! This is why any task He gives to you will be completed. If you are proud, sensual, overly ambitious, and covetous, it is doubtful that you would be an instrument in the hands of God.

The Third Person of the Trinity is called THE HOLY SPIRIT. ~ (John 14:26)

The Holy Spirit, also known as 'The Spirit of God', is the Third Person of the Trinity. He is truly God, and yet distinct from God the Father and God the Son. He has emotions just like us, and can be pleased, displeased, and grieved when we offend Him.  He convicts, corrects, teaches, and guides us in a patient and gentle manner.

Like God the Father and God the Son, the Holy Spirit has other Names by which He manifests His presence in the life of His host.

If you are wondering how you can live holy in the midst of numerous sins and temptations, or how to remain victorious and fulfill God’s purpose for your life, the Holy Spirit will empower you, for as long as you are willing to let Him.

There are certain concepts we would never be able to comprehend – the TRINITY is one of them.

GOD performs wonders that cannot be fathomed, miracles that cannot be counted. ~ (Job 5:9)

These words reflect the uncommon and extra-ordinary things God does in the lives of His people. Even when things seem to be out of control in our lives, He is still working wonders in our favor.  It is impossible to put a figure on the wondrous works of God. Those who try to keep tabs on His miracles lose count of them. We should not strive to understand what God is doing in our lives, but give Him glory, enjoy our blessings, and testify of His goodness.

Nations cannot endure the wrath of GOD. ~ (Jeremiah 10:10)

In Genesis 18:16-33, Abraham was pleading so much on behalf of Sodom and Gomorrah.  God was willing to spare the cities from destruction if He found just ten righteous people. Apparently, God did not find ten righteous people as big as the cities were. The Bible does not say how many righteous people He found, but there may not have been one more person of the same character as Lot’s in the cities. Sodom and Gomorrah were destroyed, but Lot and His daughters were kept alive.
Our God is compassionate and slow to anger. However, He can decide to destroy a nation or afflict it with disasters if it remains unrepentant, and persistently evokes His wrath and judgment.

Before GOD, there was no God formed, neither shall there be, after Him. ~ (Isaiah 43:10)

There is only One True God that has ever existed, and there shall be no other. Everything else that is worshipped exists only because the Only True God created it; it is false, empty, and completely powerless.

The first of the Ten Commandments has to do with the object of our worship (Exodus 20:3). The commandment forbids worship of other gods in thought, word, and deed. GOD made all things for Himself; even the wicked for the day of evil. ~ (Proverbs 16:4)

God created us for His own purpose, His glory, and His pleasure. All events happen by God’s design. We are enjoined to thank Him in all things.  If God allows the wicked to pounce on us, it is for a purpose. The deferred judgment of the wicked is for His glory. His righteous judgment is executed at a time that He sees appropriate; a time when it is perfect and the innocent one is blameless.

GOD is more glorious and excellent than the mountains of prey. ~ (Psalm 76:4)

Mountains of Prey are areas where wild beasts wander and prey on weaker animals. In this context, they signify the kingdoms and empires of this world, with their eminence and strength.  These kingdoms and empires are called 'mountains of prey', because they are often possessed and governed by haughtiness, greed, extortion, and oppression.

God is excellent, more powerful, and higher than the rulers of these kingdoms and all other worldly power. These kingdoms shall all pass away, but the Kingdom of God shall remain forever.

GOD of Abraham, GOD of Isaac, and GOD of Jacob ~ (Exodus 3:6)

This is one Name God wants to be remembered by in all generations (Exodus 3:15).  It expresses who He is to His people.  God proved Himself as a Covenant-Keeping God by keeping the promise He made to Abraham to give him a son and make a great nation out of him. He proved Himself as a Faithful God, when He provided a ram to be sacrificed instead of Isaac.  He proved Himself as a Merciful God, when He changed Jacob's name to Israel, and gave him a new life.

God made a covenant first in Abraham, and renewed it in Isaac and Jacob. If you belong to Christ, you are Abraham's spiritual seed and an heir of his blessings (Galatians 3:29). Let it be known that God is faithful to all His promises, and unchangeable in His nature.

The birds of the air do GOD's bidding. ~ Reference (1 Kings 17:4-6)

God ordered ravens to feed Elijah at the Brook Cherith. The ravens brought found to Elijah day and night. God could have sent angels to deliver food to Elijah, but chose to use mean creatures instead.

God has control over the mightiest and the smallest creatures, and can use them as He pleases to accomplish His purpose.

The King, Invisible ~ (1 Timothy 1:17)

God is invisible to the human eye, yet He manifests His presence in our lives with His infinite power and character.  Many doubt God’s existence because He is invisible.  Think for a minute how the earth came into existence: the trees; the fish in the sea; the birds in the air; and the tiny ants that move around and work as we all do. Surely, a Supreme Being whose power and wisdom we cannot comprehend created them all.

Knowing the One and Only True God

The GOD that is revealed in the Holy Bible is not the same god that is worshipped by many.  Distinguishing the Only True God from all other false gods is crucial to a Christian's spiritual and temporal well-being.  The bible says those who know their God will be strong and do exploits (Daniel 11:32).  A believer in Christ who knows and serves the One True God is not moved by the circumstances around him.  When strong forces attempt to contend with God’s purpose for his life, he remains unruffled because he knows he can call on the One who is mighty in battle (Psalm 24:8), mighty to save, and able to dash the strong forces to pieces with His right Hand (Exodus 15:6).

Discover the truth about the One and Only True God in these series of revelation, and arm yourself against ignorance and deception.
