God is long-suffering, and will not always manifest
His displeasure. He forgives and forgets our sins when we confess them, and are truly repentant. However, we should not make it a habit to
keep committing sins, for it may get to a point where He will want to do
something about it to help us stop altogether for our own sake. That process is
called Chastisement, or Divine Discipline (Hebrews 12:6).
Only God decides if it is necessary to discipline us, how, and when He will. This is why it is very important that we ask for His Mercy and Grace every morning to live holy.
