GOD is a Refuge for the oppressed. ~ (Psalm 9:9)

The oppressed are individuals who are dejected, weak, afflicted, crushed, bowed down by satan, trampled upon or hurt by others, and have no power or resources to stand.  Those who are being taken advantage of by individuals that are more powerful, and those who are burdened by the guilt of sins are also said to be oppressed.  Do not be dismayed if you are going through any of these tough situations. You will find rest in the arms of the One who has the power to save, defend, and vindicate you - THE ONE AND ONLY TRUE GOD!

REFLECTION
There is only one way through which you can enjoy the glorious visitation of God the Father. The way is the Gift of Salvation by faith in His Son Jesus Christ (John 14:6).  He died on the Cross of Calvary so that you would have life and have it more abundantly. It is not as complicated as you thought to accept Him as your Lord and Saviour.  Make that life-changing decision today!

GOD chose those who are poor in the eyes of the world to be rich in faith, and to inherit the kingdom He promised those who love Him. ~ (James 2:5)

God delights in using unpopular and insignificant people for His glory.  You may be considered insignificant by those around you.  Friends, family, and others may look down on you for certain reasons, but God looks beyond the physical.  He weighs the heart and sees more in you.
God used a young maid to link an Army General to his miracle (2 Kings 5:1-14).  Two things are apparent here: the vessel was young, and she was a maid.  She was no doubt poor in the eyes of Naaman and the King of Syria, but had so much faith in God.
Position yourself to be a vessel unto honor, and ask God to use you for His glory.  He will hearken to your voice.
REFLECTION
You cannot enjoy any of the great things that God has in store for you as His most beloved creature, without accepting His Son as your Lord and Saviour. Make a decision to surrender all to Jesus Christ today.
