The oppressed are individuals who are dejected, weak,
afflicted, crushed, bowed down by satan, trampled upon or hurt by others, and
have no power or resources to stand. Those
who are being taken advantage of by individuals that are more powerful, and those who are burdened by the guilt of sins are also said to be oppressed. Do not be dismayed if you are going through any of these
tough situations. You
will find rest in the arms of the One who has the power to save, defend, and vindicate you - THE ONE AND ONLY TRUE GOD!
REFLECTION
There is only one way through which you can enjoy the glorious visitation of God the Father. The way is the Gift of Salvation by faith in His Son Jesus Christ (John 14:6). He died on the Cross of Calvary so that you would have life and have it more abundantly. It is not as complicated as you thought to accept Him as your Lord and Saviour. Make that life-changing decision today!
