A fellow human being’s love for us is often borne out
of a need or a condition. God has
nothing He needs from us; as a matter of fact, it is the other way round, yet, He
loves us so dearly. Love is not just
what God expresses to us daily; Love is who He is.
Reflection
God loves every being He created and wants an eternal
relationship with us (John 3:16). The way
to reciprocate God's love for you in the first instance, is to seek to be reconciled to Him. There is need for reconciliation because we
were all born with a sinful nature, and therefore separated from Him in our
sinful state (Romans 5:12). It is Jesus Christ who reconciles man to the Father. The Father sent His Son, Jesus Christ to pay for our sins, so that we can be at peace with Him,
enjoy His presence in our lives, and ultimately spend eternity with Him in
Heaven.
It is not as complicated as you thought to receive Jesus
Christ as your Lord and Saviour. Come to
Him today!
