(7) Knowing
the attributes of God helps us to worship Him rather than the god of our
imagination. God is worshipped in
acknowledgment of His attributes because they describe who He is. When God is worshipped in spirit and in
truth, He manifests His mercy and grace upon our lives.
(8) The Bible says those who know their God will be strong and do exploits (Daniel 11:32). They will have inner peace, confidence, and remain unruffled in the face of difficulties.
(9) Those who know God will bear fruit and increase in every good work (Colossians 1:9-10). Our fruitfulness and growth depend on our knowledge of God. As we grow in the knowledge of God and experience Him deeply, we will have a greater desire to please Him. We will also begin to emulate His character.
(10) Knowing God enhances our soul-winning efforts. The most effective approach to winning a soul is proving the existence of God, and the manifestation of His love, power, and faithfulness to mankind.
