God puts those who are wise in the eyes of the world
aside, and chooses those who are considered foolish for His work. Worldly wisdom is not sufficient to
understand the things of God. Besides, it pleases God to save those who believe
in Him by what the world terms 'foolish'.
Salvation and all it stands for will always be foolish to those who are
following the path of destruction.
Likewise, God does not like it when we boast in our strength, wisdom, resources and abilities to do His work. It is His work! This is why any task He gives to you will be completed. If you are proud, sensual, overly ambitious, and covetous, it is doubtful that you would be an instrument in the hands of God.
